When I was young girl my dad bought Warcraft 2 Beyond the Dark Portal and when I saw that intro cinematic, I was blown away and knew I wanted to make THAT. I didn't even quite know what THAT was or how it was done, but I wanted to do it.
My road to 3D artist started that day but has been long and winding since. I switched mental track for a while and wanted to be a veterinarian because of my love for animals. I switched many more times to many other careers, but always came back to games and art. And every time I came back, I brought something with me from the last fork in the road. I learnt about lighting setups from photography, bio mechanics from 100s of hours of documentaries, physics from courses at school and just general things from life itself.
Now that I'm here I still like to do a bit of everything, but my main focus is characters. Everything from sculpting them and giving them colour to making them move. My main drive is to make things look good and be functional.
